We have been made aware of a new cell phone scam that is targeting people with check cards. Some members have received automated cell phone messages stating that "All NPM Credit Union Check Cards have been DEACTIVATED" or something similar. The members are then instructed to respond to the alert in order to reactivate their check card. This is a scam. If you receive this automated phone message, please disregard it. Please be assured that your check card has not been deactivated.

Remember, we would never ask for your check card number or your PIN number.
